Does Midcap Mutual Funds are better than the Large Cap Mutual Funds in short run? I have one large cap and another mid cap MF. In the Recent run midcap MF outperformed Large cap Fund. So I am thinking of investing more money in mid cap MF. Please share your views on it.

Don't look for short term. In MF always look for 3+ years for returns. MFs are for long terms.

Look for the good investment fund manager and fund house and invest. In short term you cannot predict anything.

Mid-cap funds have the potential to offer higher returns than large-cap funds as the growth potential is more. But In mutual fund always look for 3+ years for returns. Because MF’s are good for long terms.

As per your experience in mutual funds investing, it's good to know that your mid-cap MF investment is performing well, and you are planning to invest more in the mid-cap MF. But before taking any decision, you must do proper research. You should know that large-cap MFs provide stability to investors. As the companies are well-established, their share price doesn't show a sharp increase or decrease. These MFs also provide a long history of the balance sheet, which can show the profits when the company made the market.
