Hello,

It has been well known that claim settlements/procedures are cumbersome and the major problem is the TPA. Are there any insurance companies which do all claim settlements themselves without the TPA?
I am more interested with regards to health insurance

thanks

Bajaj Allianz for their Heath Insurance do not use Third Party Administrators (TPA) and cashless facility is managed by the inhouse team of Health Administration Team (HAT) through HAT network hospitals. HAT also has a qualified team of doctors and para medical staff to manage claims.

Will it make any difference, I don't think so. As mentioned above, in Bajaj Allianz its handled by a separate team. TPA also a separate team. I think better go to specialists, which in this case is a TPA. If you see abroad experience, Its very good with TPA. Yes there are some problem in India, but this concept is pretty new in India.

You can also buy Health Insurance from Apollo DVK. In their health plan - you have option to select TPA. Here you can select Apollo DVK as TPA.
