View Full Version : What to check while selecting Criticall illness cover?

I am looking for Criticall illness cover for myself (35 years old, marketing professional, no pre existing diseases.... as far as I know J). Just wondering what all things, I need to take care while selecting a Critical illeness policy. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Always check it is covering preexisting disease.

If possible buy it with life insurance policy as rider, you would get the Critical Illness policy cheaper than going for a separate policy. But also check that if you make a claim under critical illness cover the life insurance cover won't ceases with it (in some policies it happen).

One point - Pick the Critical Illness Policy - which is covering maximum disease at a low premium?

In some policy when you take CIC with Life Insurance. When you make claim under CIC, the life insurance cover would also get over, when the insurer make the final payment.
Hope now it would be more clear to you. Otherwise raise your voice here.
