Mediclaim sum insured is exhausted, do I need to renew the policy?

I just wanted to know if under a mediclaim policy, the sum insured is exhausted due to a claim within initial 4 months of the policy period, whether the policy can be renewed by paying premium again ?

You need to Top Up the policy by increasing the sum insured.
Renewal only happen after completion of policy period or one year, whichever is less.
