This seem to be a tricky question for me. If I want to exit from a MF, when should I exit?
If I am sitting on a profit then what is the best possible time to exit?
After certain target % acheived? Or after certain time frame? or what?

It depends on the your investment strategy. I fix a percentage of return around 12-15%, when my investment reach at the bottom target, I sell 50% of it and remaining on archiving my highest target. While en-cashing at the first target I put a stop loss on my investment, it will depend on the market at that time.

After certain target % acheived?
Best strategy for small investor.

In long term you will definitely earn good money. But what in case of non performing funds, so review your investments. And partially withdraw, your investment at regular intervals.

You cannot time the market, so the best method is opt for dividend option. And review your investment periodically with your investment advisor.

I would prefer exit after % target is acheived. We invest for target.
