Do you think it is good to apply this IPO when subscription may go upto 30-40% and chances of getting shares less?

Subscription is only a part in the analysis of IPO. Stock market without risk does not exist.
Retail portion will subscribe more than 12 times, I have applied 8 full applications.

Retail = 3.71 times till 2 PM today

Coal india total size 66 crores of shares - retail subscribed 2.3 times
MOIL total size is 3.3 crores of shares - retail subscribed 32 times
PSB total size is 4 crores of shares - retial subscribed 49 times

Muthoot size is 5.7 crore - retail subsscribed 8 times

How many shares do I get on muthoot finance in Rs. 2 lac application?
If you have applied at cut off as it is subscribed 8 time in retail, so you can expect 150 shares on 2 lac application.

Decent allotment chance for retail after low subscription in retail. Fingers crossed for good listing. As many analysts have pointed out, its in a niche segment with an excellent profit margin.

No, one person cannot apply multiple times through multiple applications for an IPO. It's a rule and if you apply in an IPO though multiple applications with same name or same demat account or same PAN Number, all of your application will be rejected.

MUTHOOT FINANCE
It is seeing selling from HNIs, as effective cost to them is close to Rs. 210. Those who are holding it, can look to exit around cost.
