In July'2011, Punjab National Bank (PNB), the country’s second largest public sector bank, has selected Metlife as its partner for a proposed foray into the life insurance segment. PNB had earlier shortlisted Bharti AXA, Aviva and Metlife for forming a partnership in the life insurance venture. As far as I know, no tie-up in Life for Bharti-AXA.
