Hope you had read this thread - Wants to enter into the IT field as Business Analyst (http://www.policywala.com/forum/showthread.php/1469-Wants-to-enter-into-the-IT-field-as-Business-Analyst)

Any course is not the guarantee of any job or post. When you joined your first company you show your graduation/post graduation course, projects etc. When you move on to next company you show that I have worked in this field, I know this domain, I can do this/ that etc. Same way when you do any course it will help you to move up in the ladder.

Ask following questions before doing any course -
1- How will it help in achieving my target job?
2- Is this the best course available in the market? If not why not join the best one.
3- Guys - who are working on the same field; had also done or doing same course or not? If yes discuss with them and take their opinion.

There is no short cut and no guarantee in this world.

Use Linkedin and other networking websites and check with other BAs the best course for BAs. They also help you to forward your CV to right person. LOMA is domain course, you can do Business Analysis courses from ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis (http://certifications.bcs.org/content/ConCertification/51) and International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) (http://www.iiba.org/imis15/IIBA/Home/IIBA_Website/home.aspx).
