Hi All,

I am recently divorced with my husband and as this process was very lengthy and painful, lots of my documents are still with my husband. Please help me out with below queries -
1- Can my husband encash them without my signature?
2- Can I get duplicate NSC?

Thanks in advance!

Few Queries?
1- You have not mentioned whether the above NSC's are in your name or in joint name.
2- Is above NSCs are not part of your divorce?
3- Do you have photocopies of above NSCs?

1- You have not mentioned whether the above NSC's are in your name or in joint name.
They are in my name and I had bought them with my salary.

2- Is above NSCs are not part of your divorce settlement?
Not discussed. I was not aware about them at that time.

3- Do you have photocopies of above NSCs?
No Copy.

I would suggest raise it with your husband via your lawyer. You are late but this is not end of the story. Because you won't get duplicate NSC without photocopy of your NSCs.

For duplicate NSC check the complete procedure in this thread (http://www.policywala.com/forum/showthread.php/2754-I-have-lost-my-NSC-certificate-how-to-claim-money).
