Planning to get insured, can anybody suggest me how to pick a life insurance company?

My undersatanding is that every company design plans to suits his target market. So one plan may be good for person A and would not be good for B, depending on his personal, professional and social reasons. So always check what is your need and buy insurance plan to full fill that need.
