Please Can anybody tell me the procedure of raising a medical insurance claim (mediclaim) -
1- What all medical expenses will be covered under this policy?
2- Any tests that are done prior to the hospitalization for the sake of surgery will be covered or not? For example - fitness test from cardiologist prior to the surgery is needed. Will that test expenses be covered?

Please some one help me. I couldnot get the proper information, eventhough I had a talk with one of the representatives of TPA. They are not responding properly.

I think it should be covered if you provide Diagnostic Bills along with original reports.

You need to take out the claim form from TPA site and fill it. Also need to bring all the original bills and reports of all the test you have undergone. You need to submit all the papers to TPA Office. One more thing, you can claim starting from one month prior to hospitalization and also for one month post hospitalization. This is a new benifit in mediclaim policy which was not there before.
