I've cleared Associate in General Branch and I'have received a letter from III that If I need "Award of Associate Diploma" I need to pay Rs 1000,

Now I've 2 questions -
1 ) What is the use of Associate Diploma, I mean I have the pass marksheet with me as the proof of clearing the exam, so what extra purpose does this 'Award of Associate Diploma serves".

2 ) Also is it possible that I do not opt for the award of associate diploma now, and then opt for award for Fellow diploma after clearing the fellow exam(the fee for which is Rs 600 only). Is it compulsory to opt for award for associate diploma to claim for award of fellow diploma later on. Pls clerify.

Thanks in advance for answering my query

Congrats's. It's is not necessary to apply for associate diploma, But you can use Associate title only after you pay the fee. So If you want to use the tag of AIII under your name go ahead.
