I have been comparing travel insurance for two people under 40 for ten days in Europe. I am finding lot of difference in premium. Why is difference in premiums of different companies, when the policies are similar?
Difference in the premium is because -
1- Every insurance company has there own claim ratio, so accordingly they increase or decrease the premium.
2- Premium also depend on the coverage, please check.
3- If you are going on family trip, take family discount.

Reason for this is different underwriting guidelines for each company. Each company based on its past experience, wanted to pick good risks.Quote:
