Hi, I have took travel insurance for my short term trip to UK. Now in between, I have planned for cruise trip in Wales to Northern Ireland. I have a query would my existing travel insurance for my cruise trip? Or do I need to inform my insurance co?

As you have stated that you would be travelling with in UK (assuming the policy is covering UK). No need to inform the insurer, you are covered.
