I want to open and invest Rs. 5,000/- amount in PPF. I am worried - how much time it would take to open a new PPF account? And what all details I need for this?
The same query has been asked multiple times, Pls use search before posting a new query.
Normally takes around 15 days.
Documents -
1. PAN card but not necessary, as it can be substituted with Form 60.
2. Identity Proof eg. Ration Card, Passport Copy etc.
3. Address Proof like Passport, Ration Card, Electricity Bill, Telephone Bill etc.
4. Two Introductions, those who are having their account in SBI or other PSU banks, where you are opening New PPF account.
