How can I change the name?

Hi Sir,

I have bought a KVP in my name in year 2008. However, the name is the KVP is wrongly spelled. Instead of Aalok Manas, they have put in Alok Manas (less 'a' gone). Please tell me the procedure that how can I change the name.

You have to submit an application for change of name with original certificate of KVP, proof of name like PAN No. or other certificate like licence etc. Keep the photocopy of the KVP with you for future reference.

What we need to do to change the name of the married woman? e.g. sir name after name.

You have to submit either marriage certificate a copy of government gazette of changing the name or guarantee on 20 rupee bond paper.
