Shriram Transport Finance Company Limited is India's largest player in commercial vehicle finance. The company is a leader in organized financing of pre-owned trucks with strategic presence in 5-12 year old trucks and a market share of 20-25%.
Shriram Transport Finance Co. Ltd. is raising upto 1000 crores, through retail Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs). Details of the issue are -
Issue Period - June 27, 2011 to July 9, 2011
Yield - Upto 11.60% p.a.
Rating - "AA/Stable" by CRISIL / "CARE AA+" by CARE
Issue Size - 1,000 crores on First Come First Serve Basis

There would not be a tax rebate as these are private NCDs.

Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) has no tax rebate provision. But you can invest in it to get more interest on your money.
