Query on Term Insurance?

I am 25 year old working in a leading MNC, looking to buy a term insurance plan. I have a query that If a person take the policy for the sum assured of 50 lakhs for 25 years. And if nothing happens to him till the end of 25 years. What will happens if he dies at the 26th year. Will the sum assured will be payed to his nominee?

Term Insurance is a pure risk cover. You won't get anything back. But there are some Return premium Term plan, you can opt for those. But I would recommand to go only for pure term plan.
