How much amount I can deposit in each four PPF accounts?

Dear Sir

As per your website I came to know that one may open P.P.F account in his name ,his wife name and two minor children as guardian i.e four accounts. I would like to know whether the deposit of rupees one lac may be done in each PPF account in every financial year

You can deposit Rs. 100,000 in each of the PPF account (i.e. 4,00,000 = 4 x 100,000) but maximum amount you can claim up 100,000/- in a year for IT Rebate.
