New India Assurance has got the insurance regulator’s approval to increase the premium rates on its Mediclaim 2007 policy. The insurer had filed for a revision in premium rates almost a year ago.
New India Assurance chairman said, “The premium rates in Mediclaim 2007 will go up by 20 per cent on an average. The rates were last revised six years ago.”
