These examinations, Diplomas are recognized by Government of India, Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority, Insurance companies in India and abroad. These qualifications are also recognized by similar institutes in U.K., Canada and USA. (1) Licentiate Examination: This examination is an introductory course in insurance conducted in both Life and Non-Life insurance separately twice in a year. It consists of three subjects Principles of Insurance ,Practice of Insurance and Insurance Business Environment.
(2) Associateship Examination: Examination of this Diploma course in the specialized field of insurance is also conducted twice in a year in Life and Non-Life branches separately. It consists of six subjects. The persons who have passed the Licentiate examination can only appear in Associateship Diploma Examination.
(3) Fellowship Examination: This is the highest level Diploma examination conducted by institute separately in Life and Non-life branches twice in a year and consists of six subjects. The persons who have passed the Associate diploma can only appear in Fellowship examination.
National Insurance Academy Pune
NIA is a NAAC “A” rated academy, an international centre of excellence in insurance training, education and research. National Insurance Academy is founded by the Government of India Insurance undertakings like Life Insurance Corporation of India, General Insurance Corporation of India, National Insurance Co. Ltd., The New India Assurance Co. Ltd., The Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd., and United India Insurance Co. Ltd. with the support of Ministry of Finance in the year 1980.
MBA Program

The Institute of Insurance and Risk Management (IIRM) Hyderabad
The Institute of Insurance and Risk Management (IIRM) Hyderabad is an international education and research organization. The Institute was set up jointly by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) of India and the State Government of Andhra Pradesh, in 2002. International Post Graduate Diploma Courses in Insurance and Risk Management are run from the campus at Jubilee Hills Hyderabad.
