Family health insurance policy?

Hi All,

I am looking for a family health insurance policy. Is there any health check-ups required for the same?
Please advice.

Health check up not necessary for age below 45 years, depending upon the health insurance company.

I am looking for ICICI Health Insurance. Could you please let me know the
- Is medical test are necessary for me (age 51Years)?
- What all medical tests usually they take?
- Is whole family has to under go for medical tests or only for the proposer or the complete family in a family health plan?

Not required for you. Minimum Age for medical tests for ICICI Health Insurance is 56 years.

I am not sure about ICICI Health Insurance but in National Insurance Mediclaim require electrocardiogram (ECG), and blood and urine tests.

Only the persons who are more than the age mentioned for medical tests.

What all medical tests are required for old people's mediclaim proposal?

What do you mean by Old people? Are you are asking about senior citizens?

Sorry for wrong word. What all Medical tests required for people more than 60 years of age?

In PSUs this is called as Senior Citizen Mediclaim Policy and this is designed for people more than 65 year old. I am just aware about National Insurance and New India Assurance's medical tests -

1. Blood Sugar (Fasting)

6. CBC
7. SGPOT
8. SGOT
9. Cholestrol
10. Triglycerides
11. Serum Creatinine
12. Urine Routine
13. X-Ray Chest
14. Physical Clinic Checkup
