HTC desire HD or HTC desire which one is best?

I am looking to replace my current phone. My eyes are on I-Phone. But due to steep price, I am settling on HTC. Please suggest - HTC desire HD or HTC desire - which one is best?

I would go for HTC desire. HTC desire HD is too big for my hand. Cost wise both are same.

What is your purpose of buying this phone? this is more important part in deciding the phone.
