No Point buying Travel Insurance

Guys No Point buying Travel Insurance. My understanding is main reason for buying Travel Insurance is if You have done booking but then Flights are cancelled and you are at financial loss. Insurance doesn't cover such scenario. Regarding Health/Accident Cover Domestic passengers have other insurances which run all year.So buy No Travel Insurance particularly if you have other insurances like health/death in hand. With reference to your email, please find following terms & conditions to claim under Trip cancellation benefit, the claim will be processed according to the merit of the case in accordance of the policy terms and conditions:-

Policy conditions reads as:
If an Insured Person’s outward journey as a fare paying passenger (as shown on his original travel booking and ticket) on a Carrier is unavoidably cancelled because of:
a) The death of the Insured Person or the traveling Insured Person’s Immediate Family Member or traveling companion, or
b) The Hospitalization of the Insured Person or the traveling Insured Person’s parent, spouse or child due to a sudden Illness or injury where a Medical Practitioner has recommended that due to the severity of the medical condition it is necessary to cancel the trip.
Then we will reimburse up to the Trip Cancellation Sum Insured, for those travel and accommodation expenses that the Insured Person has paid and cannot recover or for which no value can be derived or he is liable to pay.

All the scenarios are not covered in insurance policies, you have to always check T&C before buying.

The terms and conditions for travel insurance should be read clearly to proceed.

Normally all insurance companies won't covers flight cancellation cost. Each of them having different T&C against policy before buying policy you should read the policy documents carefully.

Every Travel Insurance company has different features that distinguish each one of them, travel insurance is a must when you are travelling abroad as you can never predict what might happen when you are in a foreign country especially when travelling alone. Also when you are having the support of travel insurance then you need not take the pain of worrying about getting admitted in hospitals as well in case of emergencies....
