Amalgamation of Reliance Petroleum Ltd. with RIL
Reliance Industries Ltd. had issued and allotted to the shareholders of Reliance Petroleum Ltd. in the exchange ratio of 1 (ONE) equity share of the face value of Rs.10/- each of Reliance Industries Ltd. for every 16 (SIXTEEN) equity shares of the face value of Rs.10/- each held in Reliance Petroleum Ltd.
The ratio of 1:16 is definately a loss for RPL share holders. For one like me, who bought RPL at Rs 250 will need to hold the RIL share till it hits 3500 to be at PAR. Best could be to buy more RIL when there seems to be a correction to average out.

Is this the right time to buy RIL. Its 2184 today.
In order to get a Loan, you first need to prove that you don't need it.
I am also looking for the opportunity to buy RIL, since the announcement of bonus share. Will buy some shares tomorrow after the hearing in SC.
