Exclamation Health Insurance coverage under Spouse Insurance Policy?

I am working in Pvt. Company. My wife is house wife. I am insured through Group Insurance Company. In this Group insurance policy, my family coverage is 2 lacs. Which I feel is quite low, So I am going for new individual insurance. this new policy, I wanted to take in my wife's name. I have a query that whether husband can be covered under a wife’s health insurance policy or this is applicable only for dependent spouse?

    Question

I don't think there would be any problem. If the proposer is able to pay the premium than its OK. By the way any specific reason, you are looking to buy health insurance in your wife name.

Your question is not very much clear. But still I will try. It depends on the policy you are going to buy, if you would take Family policy for your family (you & your husband) in that case you spouse will covered by this policy.
