Question Travel Insurance policy - extention?

I have taken a Travel insurance policy, for 30 days, after paying premium of Rs. 2,455. Now due to professional work, I am looking to extend it for another 15 days. Please tell me - Is it possible to extend the old policy or do I need to buy another policy for 15 days?

I am not sure about all the companies but some pvt. insurance companies like ICICI Lombard do provide extension up to 360 days, for their travel insurance. Please send a email to the insurance company, asking about the same.
New policy, I am afraid no company would issue you, while you were outside India.

That is very quick - Policy_Expert. Yes, I have bought the travel insurance from ICICI Lombard. I have sent them email, waiting for their reply. Will update you on the progress. Thanks for your reply.
