Question New Condition in Travel insurance policy

I have took a Travel insurance policy and following condition is mentioned in the policy -
"Please note that the following new exclusions apply to the Travel Policy:
You are not covered under this policy for any trip in, to or through the following countries: Afghanistan, Cuba, Liberia, or Sudan.
You are not covered under this policy if you are on any official government or police database of suspected or actual terrorists, members of terrorist organisations, drug traffickers or illegal suppliers of nuclear, chemical or biological weapons."

Can insurance company add such conditions to the policy?

As rightly said by >take, its excluded from the policy. But this company has specifically mentioned on the policy itself. So its good for the insured, because in most of the cases, insured won't go through the policy wording.
