Can Travel Alone on Joint Policy?

Our son lives in USA. We used to visit him two three times in a year. So I have taken a annual travel insurance policy. I have a query - Can I travel alone on Joint Policy? Or do I need to buy another policy?

You can travel no problem.

Anybody can use the policy, till the expiry of the policy eg.- either of them can go alone. Or even if both the person wants to goto different location they can also go. One can carry the original policy document and another one can carry the photocopy of the policy.
