    Question Procedure to change address in PPF account

    I have opened my PPF account with ICICI Bank. My address is been changed. Now all my PPF statements are being sent to my old address. I want to receive my PPF statement to my new address. Please let me know the procedure to change address in PPF account.

    Go to your bank branch and ask for address change form submit it with new address proof and submit it.

    Most banks have a prescribed format for a change in the correspondence address. You can get it in the bank. In case your bank does not have a prescribed form, write a letter to the branch manager of the bank where you have the account requesting him to make the necessary changes. Also attach a proof of address along with the letter. e.g. Ration Card, Any other bank pass book showing address, Licence etc.

    Can you open PPF account in ICICI Bank. If yes its news for me.
