Can you pick oranges?

A huge orange farm have seven entrance gate, each gate has security guard. Any of you allowed to pick oranges from the farm, but certain conditions apply -
1)- You must give oranges, 1/2of how much u have and also 1/2 of one orange - eg- You pick 45 oranges, you must give 45/2=22.5 and plus another half, total 23 and just like continue it.
2)- After giving the portion of last (seventh guard) guard you have balance only one orange.
3)- Don't cuting the oranges
if so, how much oranges pick u from the farm?

2. on 2nd gate he will give 64
3. on 3rd gate he will give 32
4. on 4th gate he will give 16
5. on 4th gate he will give 8
6. on 6th gate he will give 4
7. on 7th gate he will give 2

finally 1 orange will remain with him.

Answer 255 satisfies the condition so it's right but 128 is also satisfying condition so it is also a possible answer:
if we pick up 128 oranges.
on 1st gate he will give 64
on 2nd gate he will give 32
on 3rd gate he will give 16
on 4th gate he will give 8
on 4th gate he will give 4
on 6th gate he will give 2
on 7th gate he will give 1
64+32+16+8+4+2+1=127

finally 1 orange will remain with him.

255 is correct Answer. Please read the question properly. look at the fist and third conditions.
1) You must give oranges, 1/2of how much u have and also 1/2 of one orange
3) Don't cuting the oranges
If 128 then how will u satisfy above condition with out cutting the orange. And also look at the second condition.
