    Question Tax implications for claim proceed of the personal accident policy?

    Do we get tax benefit of the claim proceed of the personal accident policy like in mediclaim and life insurance? Please let me know the section for the same.

    Nothing to worry about tax in case of a claim. If it is paid as a result of a claim, the amount is completely exempt from tax. For the insured, you can claim section 80C benefits.

    Claim proceed is exempt from tax.
