First check that the new buyer has bought new insurance for his car.
If he transferred your insurance in his name then you won't get NCB for new car.
You will have to tell the insurer that you won't want to transfer your insurance to new user. You also need to submit the new insurance policy copy of your sold car, to show that it is insured. Then you can ask for NCB letter from insurance company or the old policy will do the purpose.Should I cancel the policy to get the ncb declaration letter?
