Default Commission on General Insurance Products

Hi, This is my First Post.

I'd like to become a General Insurance (GI) Agent.

But, before, I take a plunge, I wanted to know if there is serious money that I can make in GI.

As the premiums are very low, there are high chances of customers enrolling esp. for products like Shopkeepers, Office, Professional Indemnity etc.

I would like to know, What is the Commission percentage for the GI Products for the First year and subsequent years.

    Regards,

    Vivek.
    Hyderabad.

The general insurance products are one year products (apart from some health policies, which are 2 years terms). So there is no subsequent year commission.
