Just a suggestion from my side -
I don't know if this has already been posted, but here's my two cents to reduce spam, and maybe help the moderators.

My $0.02: I have seen this in some other forums, that new threads can be created only by members, who have already posted a certain no. of posts (say 50,or 100, etc..)

Good Suggestion Revolution. But I am against it because to ban some spammer we have to put conditions on all the new users, who actually wants to contribute in the community. So I am happy with the present moderation methods used in the forum.

Vivek - the new joinee cannot post new threads but do all other activities. I don't see if it will create any problem.
