Car parked in the society premises and gets damaged due to thrown stone from outside?

I don’t know whether it is right to ask hypothetical question here, just wanted to increase my knowledge - If car parked in the society premises and gets damaged i.e. glass broken due to thrown stone from outside. Can I still claim damages to it under my car insurance policy?
