    LIC sometimes offer discounts for Spot Revival of Lapsed policy. Which means you can revive your lapsed policy at discounted rate and less documents. The phrase SPOT means instant [on counter]

    FMR - The LIC requires, where medical examination is required, if lapse more than a year.
    DGH - The LIC requires evidence of good health form (DGH) if policy is lapse more than six months.
