    Warrior how many days it usually take to get duplicate.

    I made the FIR ,but now with indemnity there is some surety certificate which too needs to be filled.Also the person filling it should have a basic salary more than 10% of the person whose NSC is lost.

    I dont know from where this complicated stuff arised.

    It took 25 days two years back for me.

    Point 1
    If the face value of the certificate lost, stolen is Rs. 500 or less, a duplicate certificate may be issued to the applicant without any such surety or guarantee. (read point 13.3 of below link). If it's more than that you need to provide surety.

    If the Officer-In-Charge is satisfied about the NSC certificate details and circumstances attending such loss, he may issue a duplicate Certificate.The officer-in-charge will request the applicant to furnish in an indemnity bond on behalf of the NSC certificate lost in the prescribed NSC certificate form with sureties or with bank's guarantee.
