There is no such IRDA rule. IRDA won't give individual rules to policies. They are the approver of the products. All products are designed by the Insurance Companies.Originally Posted by pavom

In normal cases insurance company ask persons above 45 to take medical tests. Because sometimes due to BP or Diabetes other medical problems also come up like - heart problem etc; over period of time.
