How to get my money back from travel insurance?

I have bought airlines tickets and travel insurance from Cleartrip.com and later on due to recent pilot strike, our flight got cancelled. When I had asked Cleartrip about refund, they are saying that ask the travel insurance company.Please help!

Cleartrip will refund you the travel ticket price as per their policy.
Also check what is covered in the travel insurance? Is cancellation covered? If yes contact insurance company.
