Chartered Insurance Institute (CII)
The Chartered Insurance Institute (also known as the CII) is a United Kingdom based professional organisation for those working in the insurance and financial services industry.

The Institute provides accreditation and professional qualifications to UK and International members. Current (designated) qualifications include (in ascending level order); Cert CII, Dip CII, ACII & FCII (Chartered). These titles may be used by any person upon completion of the required level of qualification and confirmation from the institute.

How many papers are necessary -
For Certificate CII - To achieve the Certificate in Insurance you must accumulate a minimum of 40 credits. Each subject at Certificate Level is for 15-20 credits, which means that you might have to appear for three subjects. Example- (IF1) Insurance, legal and regulatory – 15 credits
For Diploma CII - You need to get 110 credits. Each subject at Diploma Level is for 20-25 credits, which means that you might have to appear for 4-6 subjects.

1. One-off joining fee = £36
2. UK Annual Fee = £102
3. Course material = £208
4. Exam Fee = £264 (£88 per paper)Time taken - Depends on your preparation and attempts. If you give all exams in one shot and clear it, it is a matter of months only.
