Car insurance

I have purchased a second car. The Ownership in the RC is changed. The insurance policy is not changed to my name. The car met a accident. Kindly let me know whether I can claim for insurance ? what is procedure for getting the insurance claim.

Legally you have to transfer the car insurance within 15 days. As per act insurer say no to damage to your vehicle loss.
