Insurance Surveyor : Is there any practical training exemptions to cost/chartered accountant?

I am a cost accountant having more than 6 years post qualification experience.

Few Queries -
1- Do I need to under go for 12 months practical training to get insurance surveyor license?
2- Is there any exemptions to cost/chartered accountant?
