Question Moving House : Would it be covered under my home insurance policy?

If I am moving my house from one apartment to another. Would it be covered under my home insurance policy or do I need to buy another insurance policy?

Which company home policy, do you have?
What policy is saying about this?

I don't think it is covered. I would recommend you to buy a Marine Insurance Plan.

No idea. Will read over the weekend.

Is there any specific requirement for marine insurance policy?
Do I need to hire a movers and packers or what if I pack my stuff my self?

There is no requirement to hire movers and packers. You can move your stuff yourself, just pack it carefully. As claim won't be payable if the stuff is damaged due to carelessness.

I don't think so.You probably have to buy a separate packing and movers insurance.

It is good to talk with insurance agent about it but when you change your home then address also going to be change so it required to make changes in the address I think (not sure about it) and you can update the current home insurance policy.
