Yes, I am totally agree with #himalayan that it is personal thing and every thing is based on your requirement. Before buying any plan first make a list of things that need to be covered & clear e.g : Pre- Existing diseases, Pre and post hospitalization charges, premium you can afford, who all members need to be insure in plan etc. Then pick some family health insurance policies & compare them on various platforms online. This will help you to get the best policy for your loved ones.

True what you said RanchiR, it is always best to list down requisites prior opting for a health insurance whether individual or family. There are quite number of very good health insurance policy companies available in the market covering all the exclusive features like hospital charges, room rents, medical check up and lot more.

There are several factors to consider when choosing a good health insurance planfor your family, including:

    1. Coverage: Look for a plan that covers the health services your family needs, such as preventive care, specialist visits, hospitalizations, and prescription drugs.
    2. Network: Check whether the plan has a network of healthcare providers that you prefer, including doctors, hospitals, and clinics. Some plans have restrictions on which providers you can see, while others allow you to choose any provider you like.
    3. Cost: Consider the premium, deductible, and out-of-pocket costs of the plan. You want to find a plan that fits your budget and provides good value for the cost.
    4. Customer service: Research the plan's customer service reputation, including how easy it is to get questions answered and claims processed.
    5. Reputation: Check out the plan's reputation in the industry, including how well it pays claims and how satisfied its customers are.

For my family I have taken ManipalCigna Health Insurance policy
