Question Does the LIC policy vaild having different last names or sir names?

My husband had bought an LIC policy in 2001 and put my name in the policy nominee. I am still continuing my maiden name (sir name before marriage) and hence my last name and husband’s last name differs. We have registered our marraige and have marriage certificate. Does the LIC policy vaild having different last names or sir names?

    Thanks,

    Shikha Sharma
