    Yes, you can cancel the policy. If it's with in freelook period, you can do straight away; otherwise let your insurance company and they will tell you the cost associated with it.

    You can cancel is if you are within free look period. Apart from that you have to look the policy wording of your plan. You can cancel your plan but the charges(some percentage) would be cut as per the plans.
    Also, let your agent or company representative know that you are unhappy and elaborate the reasons. May be they can sort out else you know what last option is.
