The required documents may vary from bank to bank. The most common documents required for Student Educational Loan would be as below -
    1. Proof of admission in the Institute or College (educational loan cannot be applied without proof that admission has been secured in the selected institute or College)
    2. Schedule of fees from the institution
    3. Mark sheet of the last qualifying examination
    4. Photographs (Self or incase of co-applicant both- Student and Co-applicant)

If the applicant is earning at the time of applying the Loan then-
    • Last 6 Months Bank account statement
    • Income tax assessment order of last 2 years
    • Proof of income (salary Slips)
    • Brief statement of assets/liabilities

Educational loans are available for higher education (full-time graduate or post-graduate course) in technology, engineering, architecture, medicine, management and applied or pure sciences, including mathematics and statistics.
It is best to check with the bank you are interested in getting the loan from, if the course you are going in for is covered under their educational loans.
