Default Do travel insurers cover children who are not dependents?

My mother and father would like to take their nephews & nieces on holidays with them - do travel insurers cover children that are not dependant on family policies and if not what is the best way to get cover for them?

Many insurers will allow you to add children who aren’t dependant onto a single trip policy, sometimes at no extra cost.

But please call the insurer and confirm from them. Also please mention in detail in the proposal form.

Yes insurable interest will come into picture in all the cases. So please check with the insurer, before taking the policy. Or you can pay the policy premium cash. It will not create any problem.
