    Default Freehold Flat Insurance

I own the freehold Flat, which is divided into two flats. I own and live in the top floor flat and the ground floor flat is on a long lease and is owned separately. As the owner of the Top Floor flat of the building. I want to get a quote for insuring the building and I will then pass on half the cost of the building insurance to the owner of the ground floor flat.

Can you please advise which companies deal with this?

You would contact any general insurance company. They will cover it under Fire Insurance. If you want to cover the contents also then go for Home Insurance.

We have a plot in Greater Noida. It is as per regulatory requirement, we have constructed one room and remaining flat is left as a lawn. How we can insure it -
    - Only Room is covered as asset
    - Room + Lawn
    Please advice.

You can cover the complete property Room + Lawn. Even the tree within the property can be covered under single policy.
